HSE POLICY DESCRIPTION

MARINE CAPABILITIES ENGINEERING SDN BHD (’MARCAPE”) is committed to maintaining high standards of Health, Safety and Environmental performance across our business activities. Therefore, we have set standard for ourselves to provide the best management practice in handling the HSE’s related issues. The safety of our people who work for us and of the environment in which we operate, is the most important value to us. In view of this, we constantly strive to better our work to achieve our goal of zero incidents, with no lost time or reportable injuries, no environmental incidents and no property damages.

In order to achieve the above, we will:

  • Be a responsible corporate member of society committed to continuous improvement in HSE.
  • Provide and maintain safe and healthy working environments for all employees.
  • Minimize environmental impact and optimize the use of natural resources.
  • Adhere to regulations, legal requirements and international agreements set by the relevant authorities.
  • Ensure HSE considerations are integrated into all activities.
  • Develop a culture which encourages employees to take personal responsibility for HSE.
  • Openly communicate HSE performance and conduct regular HSE meeting.
  • Aims to eliminate all incidents and injuries.

The HSE performance will be routinely checked and review and the findings are presented to all so we maintain our accountability and transparency so as to promote continuous HSE improvement. This policy applies to all our activities. All our personnel and others working on our behalf, have responsibilities to comply with this policy.
